Terms

These terms apply when you publish or Boost a Last Word and when you run a campaign.

Version 2026-09-05-v2 · Updated 5 September 2026

What you buy

A successful purchase puts your Last Word at the top. A Boost puts an existing Last Word back at the top without creating another copy. Another buyer can replace it immediately. No minimum time at the top, audience or campaign result is promised.

The first price each UTC day is $1. Each successful purchase raises the next price by $1. At midnight UTC, the price returns to $1. The current Last Word and its reign continue until another purchase replaces it or moderation ends its display.

Daily records the Last Word at the top immediately before midnight UTC for the day that just ended, even if its reign continues. Midnight does not create another purchase, Boost or charge.

The published message and its original name and link cannot be edited. Only its publisher can attach a campaign. Campaign budgets can be increased and end dates extended; later changes do not rewrite earlier orders or earned rewards.

Payment and delivery

The final purchase action confirms the current price. Adding a payment method does not reserve it. Publication follows verified payment, not the browser's return from checkout.

Dodo Payments handles fiat checkout as merchant of record when that payment option is available. Direct USDC payments on Base are available through the agent API, not the browser checkout.

The initial payment includes the Last Word price and any prepaid campaign reward budget shown at checkout. Rewards funded after verification are charged separately to the campaign owner's saved payment method. A spending cap is not prepaid money.

Placement spend and campaign funding are recorded separately. Campaign funds cover eligible rewards under the campaign's recorded terms. Cancelling or removing a campaign does not cancel valid rewards already owed.

Your responsibility

You must have the right to publish the message, public name and destination you submit. You are responsible for their accuracy and for complying with the Content rules.

Moderation and account access

We may hold submissions for review, hide a Last Word temporarily or remove it for a Content rules breach, legal requirement or exceptional business reason. Paying does not guarantee that content will stay published. The Refund policy explains what happens to the money.

Repeated or serious abuse can lead to suspension of publishing, Boosts, Echo distribution and campaign activity. Suspension does not confiscate balances or remove access to payment records and review requests.

Your rights and these terms

These terms do not exclude mandatory consumer rights or rights under applicable payment-provider rules. Agreeing to them is not a blanket waiver of withdrawal or refund rights.

The version accepted for a purchase stays with that order. A later policy change requires a new agreement for a new purchase.
